People have been practicing breathwork for thousands of years and with roots in yogic practice has been providing benefits to body and mind to millions. The basic idea of breathwork is to release toxins and stress when you breathe out and nourish your mind and body when you breathe in.

Much more than simple, focused exhalation and inhalation, breathwork is a holistic therapeutic practice covering various exercises and techniques that focus on the breath as a tool for healing and transformation. 

It can be used to address physical, mental, and emotional tension and can often have immediate benefits, such as activating the parasympathetic nervous system and lowering heart rate and blood pressure. Breathwork can also help to reverse the body’s stress response and can be effective in treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. 

Additionally, it can help to calm and focus the mind allowing access to, and the release of, buried emotions and traumas. Overall, breathwork has the potential to benefit the mind, body, and spirit and John is here to help you integrate this practice to positively impact all three.
